Great steak & shrimp with fried rice cooked at the table! The entertaining chef completed a gourmet meal at our place settings. If you experience a compulsion for great steak & shrimp, come hungry, leave satisfied! I know what I'm talking about!
The show is good. The food is good. Entertainment while having a good meal is definitely what you get here. I had hibachi.veggies with steak and scallops. The steak was done and I asked for medium rare. It was good nonetheless. The scallops were seared to perfection. I would recommend the scallops for sure!
Food was great and service went there with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. I was surprised they were still able to get us on the list last minute
While Mizu is popular for their Japanese tableside cooking, most people don't realize that their sushi is fantastic as well! The service is quick and attentive and it's a nice quiet atmosphere. Take out is efficient (I order online before I drive there), and the food is always good!
Excellent service, all the staff was happy and excited to have us. The hibachi chef was funny. And very entertaining. The food was delicious and the ambience was cozy. Can't wait to come back.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place for my 48th birthday dinner my husband picked it out all by himself (good job baby) I had wanted to come here a while ago & it was well worth the wait I had the pleasure of sharing the table with two others who were celebrating their birthday as well felt like family lol Scorpio season in full force lol I got the combo hibachi with steak and lobster my husband got steak and shrimp and it was awesome we also had sushi & EVERYTHING was extremely fresh even the salad my only complaints would be the soup it had no flavor and the portion size the other parties had salmon and chicken & they were both slices instead of a full portion so I didn't like that at all other than that the food was outstanding & we"lol definitely be back
I came here on 01/05/23 and sat at the bar. This was my first time utilizing the bar for service. I enjoyed my fresh sushi all while taking in some of the Pro Bowl. Service was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is relaxed /tranquil. Well, until they play that darn happy birthday song by *NSYNC! Lol I don't come here enough but I plan to change this in the future. This may become my go to for sushi in Trussville. House wine is barefoot (not the best)
This is a perfect spot to celebrate your birthday or any occasion. I loved the decor of the restaurant and the little bridge you walk on when coming inside. They also have a little pond with fishes under the bridge. Me and my friends sat in a area where they cooked your food in front of you which not only are you getting good food, but a awesome show from the chef. I'd order the hibachi combination which I choose chicken and beef. It also came with fried rice, stir fry noodles and stir fry vegetables. Both protein was well seasoned, tasty and I'd definitely enjoyed my side items. Our waiter Sam was so engaging with us during time here. The restaurant definitely has awesome customer service.
